Stop managing it.
Get to the root —
and actually change it.
You've been doing the work. But one hour a week, stopping right when things get real, isn't getting you where you need to go. Intensives are built for people who are ready to move — and want to do it now.
More Depth, Faster
A 3-hour intensive gives you close to 2.5 hours of uninterrupted depth work. That's the equivalent of months of weekly sessions — without losing momentum in between.
Built for Your Life
No open-ended commitment. Block a few days, do the real work, and walk away with something concrete. You invest the time once — and you feel the difference long after.
Weekly therapy isn't always
the right answer.
You've got a full life. Showing up every week to start over, stop just when something real surfaces, and spend another seven days sitting with it — that's not how change actually happens. Intensives are different. In a few focused days, you can move further than most people move in a year of weekly sessions.
Intensives remove that stop-start rhythm entirely.
Root-Level Change
We don't just manage symptoms here. Intensives create the conditions to go deep enough to actually change what's driving them. Real progress — not just better coping.
Designed for You
Every intensive is built around your specific goals, history, and what's keeping you stuck. This isn't a group program or a formula — it's crafted entirely for you.
Is This Right for You?
You might be ready for
an intensive if…
Intensives are built for people who are done waiting for gradual. If any of these land, keep reading.
You've tried weekly therapy and the progress feels too slow, too fragmented, or too surface-level
Your schedule doesn't allow for a long-term weekly commitment — but you're serious about healing
You're carrying something — anxiety, trauma, a pattern — that you're finally ready to actually move through
You want results that match the way you approach every other hard thing in your life
A relationship, a life transition, or a breaking point has made it clear that something has to change
You're done sitting with this. You're ready to put it down.
The Process
What actually happens,
step by step.
From the moment we connect, we're working with purpose. Here's what the intensive process looks like — and what you can expect at every stage.
Free 20-Minute Consultation
A real conversation to figure out whether this is the right fit — for you and for me. I'll be honest with you about what I'm hearing and whether I'm the right person to support you. If I'm not, I'll tell you that too.
Pre-Intake Questionnaire + Intake Session
Before we meet, you'll complete a detailed intake questionnaire. This isn't busywork — it means we don't spend your intensive hours on background I could have had in advance. Then we meet for a dedicated intake session to build your personalized plan together.
Your Intensive Day(s)
We meet in my Northfield office for focused, immersive sessions — no clock-watching, no stopping right when things get real. Expect warmth and directness in equal measure. I'll tell you what I'm observing. I'll support you through the hard parts. That's exactly where the change happens.
Post-Intensive Integration Session
We debrief, measure your progress, and make sure you leave with more than insight. Most clients describe a noticeable internal shift — a felt sense of things actually moving — that's different from anything they've experienced in traditional therapy. That's the point.

Frequently Asked Questions

It's accelerated, immersive therapy — designed to go deeper and get results faster than weekly sessions allow. Instead of spreading the work across months, you carve out a focused block of time and do the real work in a concentrated format. Most clients accomplish more in one intensive than in months of traditional therapy. This is private, one-on-one work — not a group program. It's your time, your work, your space.
-
People who are ready for things to actually change. If you've been managing a pattern, carrying something heavy, or feel like weekly therapy is moving too slowly — an intensive is built for you. I work with adults and college students dealing with anxiety, trauma, codependency, and recovery. If you're not sure whether it's a fit, that's exactly what the free consult is for. -
A standard 50-minute session loses 10–15 minutes on each end to check-in and wrap-up — leaving you 30–35 minutes of real depth work. A 3-hour intensive gives you close to 2.5 hours of uninterrupted work. That's the equivalent of five or more sessions in a single day — without losing the momentum you built between sessions. For some people, weekly therapy is the right fit. For others, the intensive model gets them there faster and more completely.
-
Intensives are private pay. I'm in-network with most major insurance companies for standard weekly therapy — but intensives operate outside that model. We can talk through questions about payment and fit during your free consultation.
-
Absolutely. Intensives work well as adjunct therapy. With your permission, I'm happy to coordinate with your current provider so we're working in the same direction.

Let's talk. The free 20-minute consult is a real conversation. We'll figure out together whether this is the right fit, what it might look like for your specific situation, and what your next best step is. No pressure, no commitment. Just clarity.
