Addiction & Sobriety Support

You’ve worked hard to get where you are — While treatment, AA, or getting sober has helped you to be sober, creating a life beyond that can be a challenge. Navigating work, relationships, and daily stressors remain the real challenge.

I help clients navigate the emotional side of sobriety — identity shifts, grief, shame, and the “now what?” feeling that often comes in early recovery. I’ve worked in high intensity outpatient settings and I understand the reality of relapse, rebuilding trust, and redefining your sense of self.

Trauma & PTSD


Maybe you experienced '“capital T” trauma like abuse or neglect or maybe you can’t get past the write up you had at work or you’re adjusting to living around to attend college — your nervous system doesn’t seem to know the difference between a chaotic household, your college class load, or a minor disagreement with your best friend. Thats because significant life events can rewire your brain to live in survival mode.

Using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and other somatic-based tools, we’ll help your brain and body feel safe again. You don’t have to rehash the memory in detail. ART helps to remove the emotional charge to the memory to help you regulate, reconnect, and rebuild

Anxiety

Your mind is going a million miles an hour and your body is following right behind. Racing thoughts, overthinking everything, snapping at people you love, constant fatigue, difficulty sleeping —anxiety can be sneaky ( and exhausting).

Together, we’ll slow things down and learn how to work with your brain, rather than against it. We’ll learn how to regulate the nervous system and get out of fight-or-flight. And yes, we will make it fun along the way!

I won’t teach you “just breathe.” I’ll teach you multiple different skills tailored to your needs to add to your toolbox!

Codependency, Boundaries & Relationship Support

You care so much — maybe too much. You’re the helper, the peacemaker, the one who always says yes (even when you’re screaming no on the inside). You can manage everyone else’s emotions, yet struggle with your own. You put others first, yet other’s seem to think of you last. Leaving you feeling guilty, bitter, resentful, and alone.
